We didn't really take Lauren trick-or-treating to houses (we figured it would be too traumatizing for her and she would just cry when the people opened the doors) So we just went to her Grandpa and Grandma Koops' house. Lauren's cousins, Ashlyn and Deakin, were also there. She wasn't too sure about them. She knew them, but they looked pretty weird in their costumes :)
Lauren all dressed in her Michigan Cheerleader costume, ready to go to Grandpa and Grandma's House (very fitting that the Michigan game was on that night too!)

(Ashlyn was sneaking candy after her mother told her no -- it was pretty cute)
Now for a little blurb about Lauren....
Lauren is learning new things everyday! It's so much fun to watch her grow and learn. She's getting her own unique personality and is becoming quite the jokester. She knows "more", "please", and "all done" in sign language. She's also starting to say a few words like: "more", "all done", "ball" and "Murphy" She also knows some colors...Purple is her favorite, and she says it all the time. She's walking all around the house and is starting to trot -- she'll be running here shortly! And loves playing with Murphy and throwing him the ball (even if doesn't go far) And she loves playing "Ring around the Rosie" - especially if it's with her Dad (someday I'll get it on video and post it -- haha!!)

O.K. So what's with the Michigan! You do remember if it wasn't for State you two would have never met!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it weird that BJ went to both UofM and MSU? LOVE the costume though! Elle was an Arizona State cheerleader last year!
